KRESTON REEVES HAS ACQUIRED CANTERBURY BASED FINANCIAL PLANNER

Kreston Reeves Financial Planning, which, itself, was acquired last year by the London-based Craven Street Wealth group has gone on to acquire Financial Planner Tarvos Wealth, based in Canterbury, after managing director Simon Ludden confirmed his retirement.

The acquisition means the newly enlarged Craven Street Weatlh group will now boost its total assets under advice to £1.15bn, with a team of 18 financial planners.

The Canterbury office will remain open, and all financial planners will continue their work in the business, alongside paraplanners and the client support team.

MD of Craven Street Wealth and Kreston Reeves Financial Planning, Tom Barnett said: “We are delighted to have completed this acquisition at an important stage of our plans for development after detailed discussions over an extensive period of time.”

Simon Ludden of Tarvos added: “In my view, the firms are a perfect fit, with our experience working with the legal profession and theirs with accountants. We are very excited about the possibilities that this brings for our staff and our clients and though I shall be looking forward to my retirement, part of me wishes that I could stay on to watch the company grow.”
