Affinia has announced the acquisition of fellow accountancy firm Opass Billings Wilson & Honey, based in Sidcup, Kent. The deal marks Affinia’s third office in Kent and brings its total number of offices across the UK to 11.
Opass Billings Wilson & Honey, founded in 1920, has a long-standing reputation for providing a comprehensive range of professional services. These include business advisory, accounting, audit, taxation, commercial support, and planning services, supporting a diverse client base of businesses, organisations, and individuals throughout the Kent region.
Rob Harden, chief development officer at Affinia, commented on the acquisition:
“We are delighted to welcome Opass Billings Wilson & Honey to the Affinia family. This is another important step in strengthening our presence in Kent. We look forward to working alongside our new colleagues to continue supporting clients across the region while making a positive impact on the local economy and communities.”
Philip Woodman, partner at Opass Billings Wilson & Honey, added:
“Our team has always been committed to delivering a broad range of professional accountancy services with a personal, tailored approach for each client. Becoming part of Affinia allows us to maintain this level of service while benefiting from the expertise and resources of a wider group. We’re excited about the opportunities this partnership brings for both our clients and our people.”
This latest acquisition reinforces Affinia’s ongoing growth strategy in the South East, adding to its existing offices in Chelmsford, Colchester, Halstead, Harlow, Ipswich, Orpington, Sutton, and Stratford, as well as two other Kent locations. The firm continues to expand its reach while maintaining its focus on delivering high-quality, client-focused advisory services.
