AZETS ACQUIRE EAST ANGLIA BASED COMPANY

Azets has acquired Ensors, one of East Anglia’s most established and respected firms of Chartered Accountants, marking the Group’s entry into a new UK region and an exciting step forward for both firms, their people, and their clients.

Established over 130 years ago, Ensors has grown into a regional leader with more than 300 colleagues across six offices in Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge, Huntingdon, Ipswich, Norwich, and Saxmundham. The firm provides a full range of services, including audit, tax, corporate finance, business recovery, and forensic accounting.

The acquisition brings together two like-minded firms that share a commitment to people, client relationships, and sustainable growth. Ensors’ clients will continue to receive the same trusted, high-quality advice from their existing teams, now strengthened by access to Azets’ wider network, specialist expertise, and international reach.

For Azets, the addition of Ensors establishes a strong presence in East Anglia and creates a platform for further investment, recruitment, and expansion in the region. Ensors’ colleagues will benefit from Azets’ ongoing investment in people, technology, and infrastructure, opening up new opportunities for professional development and enhanced client service.

Ensors will continue to operate under its current brand, endorsed as “part of Azets,” during a phased 12-month integration period. The region will be led by David Scrivener, who becomes Regional Managing Director, East.
