LUMIN WEALTH ACQUIRE BUCKINGHAMSHIRE-BASED FINANCIAL PLANNER

Lumin Wealth, a Chartered Financial Planner, has made an undisclosed acquisition of B W Financial Consultants Ltd, a Financial Planning firm located in Penn, Buckinghamshire. This transaction will bolster the assets under management of the Lumin VZ Group by £95 million and represents their eighth acquisition since 2019.

Lumin Wealth is a firm specialising in providing financial advice and operating as a discretionary fund manager. Their offices are situated in St Albans, London, and Cambridge. In recent years, the company has actively pursued acquisitions in the financial sector.

In July, they acquired Big Picture Wealth Management, a financial advisory firm in Ongar, Essex, managing £85 million in assets. In June, they purchased Davidson Deem, a mortgage advisory firm based in Dorset, the exact amount undisclosed.

In June 2022, Lumin acquired Ashridge Financial Management, a financial advisory firm in the South East, and in March 2022, they acquired Enhance Wealth Management in Hertfordshire. In 2021, they acquired Chamberlain Stean and West, an IFA firm in Hertfordshire, and in 2020, they acquired London Financial Planner Everett MacLeod.

Lumin states that it offers a stable and long-term home for financial advisers and their clients who seek an alternative to the various private equity options available in the market. They emphasize that this latest acquisition aligns with their strategy of partnering with like-minded advisers.

Lumin was established in 2010 by Martin Cotter and John Cusins, and in May 2021, it merged with Swiss financial services provider VZ Group.
