HFMC ACQUIRES LONDON PLANNING FIRM

HFMC Wealth, a Chartered financial planning firm, has acquired R&S Financial Planning, another Chartered financial planning firm based in London.

The acquisition will enhance HFMC’s presence in London and increase its number of high-net-worth clients. R&S’s client-facing staff will be retained by HFMC and R&S’s founder, Vince Lane, will continue to oversee key client relationships. Additionally, Darren Berry, a Chartered Financial Planner and Fellow of the Personal Finance Society, will join the team on a full-time basis.

The acquisition will bring in £630,000 of annual recurring revenue and assets under advice of £145m to HFMC Wealth.

HFMC employs over 20 Chartered Financial Planners. They offer a variety of services to both corporate and individual clients. The firm has locations in London and Weybridge, Surrey. In recent years, they have made several acquisitions, including Generic Financial Management in 2018 and London wealth manager Aspinalls in 2020. These acquisitions have added assets under advice and management to nearly £1.5bn.
